Megan Snow, LPC

Licensed Professional Counselor
Oregon Board-Approved Clinical Supervisor

Hi! I'm Megan, and I'm so glad you're here. I know you're seeking a new perspective—to heal, grow, and create meaningful change. I see myself as someone who can encourage, teach, guide, empower, collaborate, and simply "sit" with my clients.

I will provide a nonjudgmental space to support you, offer problem-solving and practical strategies, introduce new perspectives, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, and help you gain clarity and confidence. My approach to therapy is direct and transparent, while always honoring your unique experiences and needs. I see my clients as experts in their own lives, and I aim to draw on that expertise to facilitate change. I believe it is my responsibility to empower and guide you in making changes that feel natural and necessary for your life.

I am a native Oregonian and love camping, being outdoors (rain or shine), reading mysteries, and spending time with my husband and boys. When my two busy boys aren't cooking up trouble at home, we're often running to baseball, basketball, and lacrosse practices. Our family also enjoys spending time outside in the neighborhood, playing late into the evening.

Thank you for considering working with me. I look forward to supporting you on your therapeutic journey!

Contact/Hours & Info.

As a Board-Approved Clinical Supervisor, I oversee a select group of graduate student interns each year who demonstrate exceptional academic and clinical potential. I provide intensive, direct supervision of their caseloads. This collaborative model ensures that clients work with interns who integrate the latest evidence-based research into their practice while benefiting from the combined expertise of a fresh clinical perspective and a seasoned supervisor. This structure enables me to offer high-quality clinical care while providing services at a lower fee or on a sliding scale.

Below are the profiles of the graduate student interns under my supervision; they are now available to accept new clients!  Intake and follow-up appointments are $60 per visit (interns are unable to bill insurance).  Appointments are offered both virtually (online) or in person at our Sherwood, OR office.  Please email Samantha or Rachel if you have any questions and/or to schedule.  You may email me as well!

Samantha Sheppeard
Counseling Intern

Hi! I'm Sam, and I'm so glad you're here.  I'm a graduate student intern in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Antioch University, working under the supervision of Megan Snow, LPC. I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to grow. I enjoy working with children, adolescents, young adults, parents, and LGBTQIA+ clients. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each person's unique needs. I draw from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and person-centered counseling, and I'm expanding my training in evidence-based treatment for anxiety, OCD, and play therapy.

Before pursuing counseling, I worked in behavioral health and pediatric genetic research, supporting children and families through medical, developmental, and mental health challenges as well as working with the Special Olympics. Those experiences shaped my belief that healing happens through connection, curiosity, and practical support, and I feel honored to walk alongside clients as they move toward meaningful change.
