Clinical Experience
I am a seasoned clinician with over twenty years experience working with individuals, children and adolescents, couples and families. I have a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from George Fox University and am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Oregon.
I have advanced training and expertise in ADHD evaluation and treatment; I am trained to administer and interpret ADHD assessments for both children/adolescents and adults. I have 15 years of ADHD specific experience providing assessment, differential diagnosis, and consultation services across a wide array of organizations and settings including schools, medical settings, consultation with mental health providers, and clients. I frequently advocate for families within the school system and often assist with 504/IEP planning.
I also have specialized training in sexual abuse trauma, relationship issues, codependency and boundaries, depression, anxiety, and perinatal mood disorders. I particularly love working with parents; providing interventions, parenting strategies, psychoeducation, and support. I was previously a CADC-1 (Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor, Level 1) from 2006-2019 and I have extensive experience working with individuals and families who have experienced addiction; I understand how addiction affects relationship dynamics, whether directly or indirectly.
